Alex Foxen is wasting no time giving Winning Poker Network sites a major storyline at the 2026 World Series of Poker.
The newly added network pro picked up another strong result in Las Vegas, finishing 5th in Event #28: $600 Deepstack Mixed No-Limit Hold’em / Pot-Limit Omaha for $55,305. The tournament drew 3,332 entries, making Foxen’s final-table finish another impressive early result in a packed summer schedule.
It also gives Foxen two notable WSOP finishes already this series.
Another Final Table for Foxen
WSOP Event #28 was not a standard no-limit hold’em tournament. The format rotated between no-limit hold’em and pot-limit Omaha, forcing players to adjust between two very different games.
Foxen handled the shift well enough to reach a stacked final table that included Brent Gregory, Maurice Hawkins, Josh Reichard, and John Ghosn. Gregory went on to win the event, while Foxen rounded out the top five.
For players following the summer action, that kind of versatility matters. Foxen is best known for elite high-stakes results, but this run came in a lower buy-in, massive-field event with a mixed-game structure.
Building on a $300K Finish
The result follows Foxen’s earlier 4th-place finish in WSOP Event #7: $25,000 Heads-Up No-Limit Hold’em Championship, where he earned $300,000.
Together, those two finishes have quickly made Foxen one of the top WPN storylines of the early WSOP schedule. He recently joined the network roster alongside Chance Kornuth and Chris Hunichen, adding even more tournament credibility to a lineup that already included poker icon Chris Moneymaker.
A Proven Name Still Producing
Foxen has long been viewed as one of the top tournament players of his generation. He became the first player to win back-to-back Global Poker Index Player of the Year awards, taking the honor in 2018 and 2019.
His résumé also includes multiple WSOP bracelets and major high-roller wins, including a $4.56 million victory in the 2022 $250,000 Super High Roller and a $3.85 million win in the 2024 Triton Main Event at WSOP Paradise.
Now representing WPN, Foxen is giving players and poker fans another reason to follow the network’s expanded pro lineup this summer.
More Chances Ahead
With two strong finishes already on the board, Foxen has helped put WPN sites in the conversation early at the 2026 WSOP.
The summer schedule still has plenty of major events ahead, giving Foxen and the rest of the network roster more chances to keep the momentum going in Las Vegas.
