ACR Poker is taking players deeper into the 2026 World Series of Poker with a new 14-part interview series, and Alex Foxen gets the first word.
The weekly editorial project looks beyond chip counts and payout lists. Each installment is built from a natural interview or voice-note conversation, then developed into a full feature focused on the decisions, memories, frustrations, and lessons that shaped each player’s summer.
That makes the series more than a standard WSOP recap. It gives readers a closer look at what top players were thinking, what they took from the series, and which moments stayed with them after the final cards were dealt.
Foxen Opens the Series
Foxen is a strong choice to lead things off.
He finished the 2026 WSOP with one of the best summers of his career, winning his fourth bracelet in the $10,000 Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold’em event for $594,246. He also recorded 14 cashes and more than $2 million in listed payouts.
The opening feature gives Foxen space to revisit the pivotal three-way all-in that helped drive his bracelet run, while also looking back at several other deep finishes. That includes a seventh-place finish in the $25,000 High Roller Pot-Limit Omaha event and a final-table appearance in the $100,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold’em event.
But the interview is not only about results.
A More Personal WSOP Lookback
One of the standout parts of the Foxen feature centers on his wife, Kristen Foxen.
Kristen won the sixth bracelet of her career in the $25,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold’em event, and Alex later added his fourth bracelet during the same series. When asked which moment he expected to remember most, Foxen pointed to presenting Kristen with her bracelet and celebrating her win from the other side of the stage.
That personal angle is exactly what makes the new series interesting. It is not just about who cashed, who final-tabled, or who won. It is about the stories behind those results.
Thirteen More Features Are Coming
Foxen’s interview is only the beginning.
The full 14-part series is expected to continue with Chris Hunichen, Chris Moorman, Chance Kornuth, Chris Moneymaker, Robert Kuhn, Katie Lindsay, Jeff Boski, Ana Marquez, Drew Gonzalez, Monika Zukowicz, Jon Pardy, Michael Loncar, and Rene and Casey Nezhoda.
One new feature is planned each week, with the running order still subject to change as interviews are completed and approved.
For ACR Poker players and poker fans, that means there is a steady run of behind-the-scenes WSOP content on the way. The first feature, focused on Alex Foxen’s bracelet-winning summer and personal WSOP memories, is available now at ACR Poker.
