The $15 Million Dual Venoms are already massive, but ACR Poker isn’t stopping with the two headline events. Players will also have 91 Venom Specials to jump into, with another $10.16 million guaranteed across seven loaded dates.
August is shaping up to be one of the biggest tournament months of the year at ACR Poker.
At the center of everything are the $15 Million Dual Venoms: a $12 million GTD No-Limit Hold’em Mystery Bounty Venom and a $3 million GTD Pot-Limit Omaha Mystery Bounty Venom. Both carry $2,650 buy-ins and get underway with Day 1A on Thursday, August 13th.
There’s some serious bounty money waiting too. The No-Limit Hold’em Venom features a $500,000 top bounty, while the Pot-Limit Omaha edition has $250,000 up for grabs in its biggest envelope.
But you won’t have to be deep in a Venom to find something worth playing.
ACR Poker is filling out the rest of the schedule with 91 Venom Specials and $10.16 million in guarantees from August 17th through August 31st. You can play them whether you’re in the Dual Venoms or not, so there should be plenty on the menu whenever you sit down for a session.
Seven Big Days of Venom Specials
The Specials start rolling on Monday, August 17th, when 15 tournaments bring $915,000 in guarantees.
Things pick up again Thursday, August 20th with another 11 events worth $820,000 GTD before Sunday, August 23rd delivers the first really big slate: 12 tournaments and $1.84 million guaranteed.
That’s already $3.575 million in guarantees before the second half of the schedule even begins.
Monday, August 24th adds 11 more tournaments and $805,000 GTD, followed by another 11 events worth $995,000 on Thursday, August 27th.
And then things really start getting interesting.
The Biggest Money Comes at the End
If you’re circling dates on the calendar, Sunday, August 30th and Monday, August 31st deserve some attention.
Sunday brings 13 Venom Specials with a combined $2.34 million guaranteed. That includes tournaments carrying $600,000, $500,000 and $250,000 guarantees.
Then comes the finale.
Monday, August 31st is the busiest day of the entire promotion, with 18 tournaments and $2.445 million guaranteed. The schedule includes a $750,000 GTD event — the biggest single guarantee among the Venom Specials — alongside another $500,000 GTD tournament and a $200,000 GTD Progressive Knockout.
Across all seven dates, guarantees run from $15,000 all the way up to $750,000, giving you plenty of room to pick your spots instead of being locked into one type of tournament or one bankroll level.
Plenty More Than Standard Hold’em
The Venom Specials aren’t just 91 versions of the same tournament either.
You’ll find regular No-Limit Hold’em, Progressive Knockouts, 6-Max events, Mystery Bounties and Omaha variants spread across the schedule. That variety should come in handy during a two-week period when you might be firing multiple sessions around Venom flights, Day 2s or just your usual tournament grind.
And that’s really the appeal here.
The Dual Venoms may be the main attraction, but there’s more than $10 million in additional guaranteed action happening around them. Whether you’re chasing a Venom title, filling the gaps between flights or skipping the $2,650 events completely, the Venom Specials give you plenty more to play for.
