Deltoid88 wins the $12 million NLH Venom, ImWinninAnyway takes the $3.095 million PLO edition, and the biggest Mystery Bounties pay $500,000 and $250,000.
ACR Poker’s biggest-ever Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms are in the books, and the numbers tell only part of the story. Deltoid88 won the $12 million No-Limit Hold’em event, ImWinninAnyway took down the $3.095 million Pot-Limit Omaha event, and two other players walked away with the headline Mystery Bounties of $500,000 and $250,000.
Across the two $2,650 tournaments, 6,030 entries produced $15.075 million from entry contributions. ACR Poker added a $20,000 overlay to the NLH tournament, bringing the combined final prize pools to $15.095 million. PLO did not need an overlay and finished $95,000 above its $3 million guarantee. ACR Pro Chance Kornuth, playing as LawyerDad68, reached the final table of both tournaments.
Deltoid88 Finishes The Job In NLH
The NLH Venom drew 4,792 entries. That was eight entries short of the number needed to reach the $12 million guarantee from entries alone, so ACR Poker added $20,000 and kept the final prize pool at the full $12 million. The money was split between $6.01 million in regular prize money and $5.99 million in bounty prize money, with 580 places paid.
Deltoid88 made it to heads-up play against Brazilian pro Ivan Limeira, playing as chickenpastry. The final two agreed to a deal that changed the regular payouts at the top, and Deltoid88 went on to claim the title. The winner received $799,521.82 in regular prize money plus $66,347.71 in cumulative bounty winnings, making the overall return $865,869.53.
Limeira’s runner-up finish was worth $730,602.11 from the regular prize pool and another $48,552.30 in bounties, or $779,154.41 overall. JasonSpichkin finished third with $463,534.24 in regular prize money plus $54,900 in bounties. JGuayaco placed fourth with $334,837.36 plus $184,700 in bounties, followed by loltaxpayers with $241,918.24 plus $15,000 and MajN00n with $174,826.96 plus $199,900. Kornuth was seventh with $126,395.20 plus $5,000, litlstitious eighth with $91,420 plus $37,500, and Moorman ninth with $66,171.28 plus $5,000.
LavenderBrown Finds The $500,000 Mystery Bounty
You did not need to reach the final table to leave with one of the biggest returns in the tournament. LavenderBrown finished 348th in NLH but pulled the $500,000 top Mystery Bounty. That was not the player’s only bounty either. The cumulative bounty total reached $505,000, and another $3,220.48 came from the regular prize pool for $508,220.48 overall.
That result is also a useful reminder of how the displayed bounty totals work. The final bounty figure is cumulative, not the value of one envelope. In LavenderBrown’s case, the $505,000 total included the $500,000 top bounty plus another $5,000 in additional bounty winnings.
PLO Clears Its Guarantee By $95,000
The PLO Venom followed a different path against its guarantee. A field of 1,238 entries pushed the prize pool to $3.095 million, with no overlay required. Half of that money, $1,547,500, went to the regular prize pool and the other $1,547,500 funded the bounties. A total of 153 places were paid.
ImWinninAnyway came through the final table for the title, collecting $290,042.14 in regular prize money and $75,150 in cumulative bounties. That added up to $365,192.14 overall. Runner-up turov1 finished with $217,706.95 in regular prize money and $35,100 in bounties for $252,806.95 overall. Walruspuss placed third for $213,654.07 overall. MaD_Q_FroG was fourth with $108,002.40 plus $10,000 in bounties, JELLY007 fifth with $71,443.53 plus $20,000, Kornuth sixth with $47,339.68 plus $10,000, and SRNVSN seventh for $31,449.08 in regular prize money.
R88P Turns A Misclick Into $275,840.23
R88P’s path to one of the tournament’s biggest payouts was not planned. The player intended to register for the NLH Venom but accidentally entered PLO instead. The unexpected entry eventually produced a 13th-place finish, the $250,000 top PLO Mystery Bounty and $275,840.23 overall.
Just like LavenderBrown’s NLH total, R88P’s bounty figure included more than the top bounty alone. R88P finished with $265,000 in cumulative bounty winnings and added $10,840.23 from the regular prize pool.
Chance Kornuth Reaches Both Final Tables
ACR Pro Chance Kornuth had a strong finish in both games. Playing as LawyerDad68, Kornuth finished sixth in PLO for $47,339.68 in regular prize money plus $10,000 in bounties. He then reached the NLH final table and placed seventh for $126,395.20 in regular prize money plus $5,000 in bounties. Across the two events, that came to $188,734.88.
ACR Pro Chris Moorman finished ninth in NLH for $66,171.28 in regular prize money and $5,000 in bounties. Alex Foxen placed 64th in PLO and collected $98,824.41 overall, with $95,100 of that coming from cumulative bounties.
Chris Moneymaker cashed both tournaments. He finished 69th in NLH for $10,051.36 in regular prize money plus $69,950 in bounties, then placed 96th in PLO for $2,840.18 plus $5,000 in bounties. Chris Hunichen, Rob Kuhn and Ana Marquez also recorded cashes in the Dual Venoms.
686 Mystery Bounties Across Two Venoms
The final count across both tournaments was 686 Mystery Bounties. NLH accounted for 543 of them, while PLO accounted for 143. The two top bounties alone were worth $750,000 combined.
