Saturday’s added Bonus Flight and Sunday’s last Day 1 give players two more chances to build a stack before the Mystery Bounties go live.
The final weekend of ACR Poker’s $15 million Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms is here, and there are still two chances left to reach Day 2.
The newly added Saturday, August 29 Bonus Flight starts at 12:05 p.m. ET, followed by the final scheduled Day 1 at the same time on Sunday, August 30. Both starting flights run in parallel for the $12 million guaranteed No-Limit Hold’em Mystery Bounty Venom and the $3 million guaranteed Pot-Limit Omaha Mystery Bounty Venom, with a $2,650 buy-in for each.
That means players can still choose their tournament, take another shot at qualifying, or — if they already have a stack — try to add more chips before the bounty phase begins.
Saturday Adds One More Shot
Saturday’s Bonus Flight was not part of the original schedule, so it gives players one extra opportunity to make Day 2. The goal is simple: survive the flight with chips and return on Monday already in the money.
Qualifying once does not lock you out of the remaining action. Players who advance through more than one Day 1 combine their qualifying stacks for Day 2. If you are already through, the last two flights can be about improving your position rather than simply surviving.
There is also plenty happening around the two headline tournaments. Saturday’s Venom Specials carry $355,000 in guarantees, creating more options for players who want action without committing to the full $2,650 Venom buy-in.
The Current Fields Leave Plenty at Stake
Through the first seven flights, the NLH Venom had recorded 3,072 entries and sent 349 players through to Day 2. The PLO Venom had drawn 781 entries, with 91 players advancing.
Those numbers still leave the NLH guarantee well ahead of the current field. That creates the possibility of meaningful overlay value during the closing weekend, although the final figures will not be known until registration closes.
The last two flights can also change the chip-count picture. PORKNOMAR currently leads the NLH event with 8,606,067 chips, approximately 215 big blinds. In PLO, Winkyface1984 has a commanding 17,037,699-chip stack, approximately 608 big blinds.
Sunday Is the Last Day 1
Sunday, August 30 is the true last call. The final NLH and PLO Day 1s begin at 12:05 p.m. ET, and once late registration closes, there will be no more chances to qualify or add chips to an existing stack.
Sunday also has the biggest Venom Specials slate of the weekend. Thirteen tournaments carry $2.34 million in combined guarantees, part of the wider Venom Specials schedule featuring 91 tournaments and $10.16 million in guarantees across its original seven dates.
It is also the final day of Venom Fever, the qualification promotion that guaranteed more than 1,500 Venom seats for pennies on the dollar.
Day 2 Is Where the Bounties Begin
Making Day 2 changes the tournament immediately. Every returning player is already in the money, and the Mystery Bounty phase activates from there.
In the NLH Venom, the top Mystery Bounty is $500,000. The PLO event has a $250,000 top bounty. Every successful Day 2 knockout reveals a bounty worth at least $5,000.
That makes extra chips especially useful. A bigger stack gives you more room to navigate the later stages and more opportunities to cover opponents once the bounty hunt starts.
What Happens After the Final Flights
Day 2 starts Monday, August 31 at 1:05 p.m. ET. The NLH event continues to Day 3 on Tuesday, September 1 at 1:05 p.m. ET, while the PLO field moves directly from Day 2 to its final table.
Both tournaments are scheduled to conclude Wednesday, September 2 at 4:05 p.m. ET.
With two flights left, two formats to choose from and no more room on the calendar after Sunday, this is the final weekend to build a stack before the Mystery Bounties take over.
