If you’re jumping into cash games on ACR Poker, it helps to know where everything is and how to quickly find the games you want to play. The client gives you a lot of flexibility, whether you’re sticking to low stakes, mixing in Omaha, or taking shots higher up.
Here’s how to navigate the cash game lobby.
Step-by-Step: Navigating Cash Games
Start by logging into the ACR Poker client and clicking on the Cash Games tab at the top.
From there, you’ll see a full list of available tables. Stakes run from $0.01/$0.02 all the way up to $5/$10 in the main lobby, so you can jump in at whatever level you’re comfortable with.
You can also sort by game type. Hold’em is the default, but you can switch to Omaha, 5-Card Omaha, and other formats using the filters at the top.
If you’re looking for bigger games, click into the High Stakes tab. That’s where games start at $10/$20 and go all the way up to $200/$400. Same idea here—you can filter by game type depending on what you want to play.
Understanding Game Variations
Not every table plays the same way. If a game has a different format, you’ll see an icon next to it so you know right away.
For example, you might come across:
- No Rat Hole (7-Day) – you buy in with 10 big blinds, and for seven days that stack is tied to the table. If you build it up (say from 10BB to 40BB), you’ll have to bring that full amount back when you return during that window
- Bomb Pots – four times every hour, each player puts in five big blinds and the hand goes straight to a flop, creating bigger pots and more action
- All-In or Fold – exactly what it sounds like, faster-paced games where decisions are simplified
- Short buy-in tables – lower starting stacks compared to standard games
These are all clearly marked in the lobby, so it’s easy to spot them and jump into something different if you want to mix it up.
