Two big Main Events begin, the $66 Main Event hits its final flight, and a $750,000 High Roller leads the rest of a packed September 20 schedule.
If you’ve been waiting for OSS XL to reach the heart of its Main Event schedule, Sunday is the day to circle. ACR Poker has three Main Event flights on September 20 with $5 million in combined guarantees, and each one is at a different point in its run.
The two biggest events are opening their doors for the first time. The $2,650 Main Event brings a $2.5 million guarantee, while the $1,050 Main Event has $2 million guaranteed. At the other end of the buy-in range, the $66 Main Event is back for its second and final starting flight with $500,000 guaranteed.
That gives players three different Main Event price points on the same Sunday, with plenty more OSS XL action around them.
Two Big Main Events Start On Sunday
The $2,650 and $1,050 Main Events both begin with Day 1A on September 20. Neither is a one-Sunday affair: both return for Day 1B on September 27 before moving to Day 2 on Monday, September 28 and their final tables on Tuesday, September 29.
The guarantees are the headline numbers. The $2,650 event is playing for $2.5 million guaranteed, while the $1,050 version puts another $2 million on the line. Together, those two tournaments account for $4.5 million of Sunday’s $5 million in Main Event guarantees.
The $66 Main Event Gets One More Flight
The $66 Main Event is further along. September 20 is Day 1B, its second and final starting flight, and the tournament carries a $500,000 guarantee.
For players looking to get in for less than the direct buy-in, satellites start at $6.60. Anyone who advances from Sunday’s Day 1B will return for Day 2 on Sunday, September 27.
A $750,000 High Roller Leads The Rest Of Sunday
Main Events may take top billing, but they do not have Sunday to themselves. OSS XL #215 is a $630 High Roller with $750,000 guaranteed, giving higher-stakes players another major target on the same schedule.
There are two more $250,000 guarantees nearby. OSS XL #216 costs $215 to enter, while OSS XL #213H is another $630 High Roller. If you’re playing at the $2,650 level, Mini Phil’s Thrill #219 has $250,000 guaranteed and Phil’s Thrill PLO #220 adds a $200,000 guarantee for Omaha players.
The lower buy-ins are represented too. The $16.50 Sunday Splash has $75,000 guaranteed, and the $27.50 Sunday Smash comes with a $100,000 guarantee.
Put together, the highlighted Sunday card gives you a wide spread of entry points. The named events run from $16.50 and $27.50 options through $66, $215 and $630 tournaments, before reaching the $1,050 and $2,650 Main Events and the two $2,650 Thrill events. You do not have to be firing the top buy-ins to find a meaningful guarantee on the schedule.
The Leaderboard Race Keeps Running
Every tournament also sits inside the wider OSS XL leaderboard chase. More than $60,000 in added cash and tournament tickets is available across the High, Medium and Low divisions.
The first-place prizes are $15,000 in High, $7,500 in Medium and $4,000 in Low, so there is still something to play for beyond an individual tournament result.
Second Mortgage Week Starts The Next Day
The high-stakes schedule does not cool off after Sunday. Second Mortgage Week begins Monday, September 21 and runs through September 28, with 10 Nosebleed Stakes events spread across five playing days.
Those tournaments range from $5,200 to $25,500 to enter. ACR Pros Chris Moneymaker and Alex Foxen, along with CEO Phil Nagy, are expected to compete, adding another high-profile stretch to the back half of OSS XL.
