ACR Poker turned heads this past Monday with one of the biggest rebuy and add-on tournaments seen online in years.
The event, fittingly named The Blunt Special, was a 6-max rebuy and add-on tournament with a $5,000 + $200 buy-in. With 40 entries, 13 re-buys, and 31 add-ons, the tournament built a $420,000 prize pool, landing perfectly on 4/20.
It wasn’t just a one-off either. The Blunt Special is part of ACR Poker’s Highest Five, a brand-new lineup of nosebleed tournaments featuring buy-ins ranging from $5,200 up to $25,500—the biggest stakes ever spread on the platform.
A Classic Format Delivers Big Action
Rebuy and add-on tournaments have become increasingly rare at the highest levels, which made this event stand out even more. The format encourages aggressive play early, with players able to reload and build stacks before the add-on phase, creating larger prize pools and deeper competition.
In the end, five players made the money:

- RiverRiot72 -> $105,000
- YOUKNOWWHOIAM -> $67,200
- BrottarKarin -> $54,600
- DerRitter -> $35,700
The top prize of $157,500 went to GinkgoBiloba, capping off one of the more unique high-stakes events of the year.
Phil Nagy in the Mix
ACR Poker CEO Phil Nagy was also in the field, finishing 8th in The Blunt Special.
He’s been active across the Highest Five schedule and also recorded a cash in The Big Fatty—another Highest Five event held on April 20th—where he finished 7th for $31,858.
What Is the Highest Five?
The Highest Five is an extension of ACR Poker’s ongoing High Five series, which features a 4/20-themed schedule of tournaments.
While High Five offers broad access across stakes, Highest Five is focused on nosebleed action, adding two high-stakes tournaments per day on top of the existing schedule.
Both the High Five and Highest Five run through April 23rd, giving players a few more days to get involved.
