The $6.5 million guaranteed Dual Venom PKOs continue Thursday, while Sunday brings Day 1C and a $1,050 WSOP Paradise Mega with seven $30,000 packages guaranteed.
Two big tournament tracks are lining up at ACR Poker this week. The $5 million guaranteed No-Limit Hold’em Venom PKO and $1.5 million guaranteed Pot-Limit Omaha Venom PKO both return for Day 1B at 1:05pm ET on Thursday, October 8, giving players another chance to build a stack for the second half of the month.
Sunday, October 11 adds even more to the schedule. Both Venoms run Day 1C at 1:05pm ET, then the first $1,050 WSOP Paradise Mega starts at 2:05pm ET with seven $30,000 Bahamas packages guaranteed. Venom Fever also remains active for players looking for lower-cost routes into the PKOs.
Day 1B Keeps Both Venoms Moving
Direct entry into either Venom costs $2,650. After Thursday’s Day 1B, the remaining starting flights are set for October 11, October 15 and October 18, all at 1:05pm ET. Players who have already qualified can take another shot on the same account and combine qualifying stacks for Day 2.
The PKO action is live from the opening flights. When you knock out an opponent, half of that player’s bounty is paid to you and the other half is added to the bounty on your own head. That means the tournament prize money and the bounty race are developing at the same time as players try to book their Day 2 spots.
Day 1A Set the First Benchmarks
The opening flights on October 4 already produced some useful targets. Day 1A of the NLH Venom drew 511 entries and sent 86 players forward, while Day 1A of the PLO Venom attracted 133 entries with 17 advancing.
Atheist30 finished Day 1A with the biggest NLH stack at 5,186,479 chips. BooooomHeadsot led the PLO qualifiers with 6,706,559. On the bounty side, lordgiven earned $8,125 in NLH bounties, while bethechange and sendmehome each collected $9,687.50 in PLO bounties. Those earnings are separate from the bounty amounts the players carry on their heads going forward.
Sunday Adds Seven $30K Paradise Packages
The Venoms are only part of Sunday’s lineup. At 2:05pm ET, ACR Poker’s first $1,050 WSOP Paradise Mega guarantees seven packages worth $30,000 each, putting a combined $210,000 in package value on the line.
Each package includes a $26,000 entry into the $50 million guaranteed WSOP Paradise Super Main Event, which runs December 10-17 in the Bahamas, plus accommodation at SLS Baha Mar from December 5-18. The stay is room-only, and travel, meals and personal expenses are not included. The $30,000 package value is not a cash payout.
Fifty Players Have Already Qualified for the Mega
A group of 50 players has already earned entry to the October 11 Mega through the October 4 $95 BEAST Paradise feeder. That feeder drew 584 entries, generated a $52,560 prize pool and awarded Mega seats to its top 50 finishers.
Those players have won their way into the satellite, not the Bahamas package itself. The seven guaranteed packages will be decided in Sunday’s Mega. Another $95 BEAST feeder runs later that same day at 5:05pm ET and guarantees 50 seats to the October 18 Mega.
Venom Fever Still Offers Lower-Cost Routes
Players who do not want to buy directly into a Venom still have options. Venom Fever runs through October 18 with Direct Satellites, Mega Satellites and freeroll feeder paths, while Survivor Flips provide another route starting from $0.80.
The promotion guarantees 587 Venom seats across the full September 29-October 18 run. That total refers to the entire promotion, not the number of seats still available at this point. It is also worth keeping the two qualification tracks separate: Venom satellites lead toward a Venom entry, while Paradise feeders lead to a Paradise Mega.
What Comes Next
Both Venoms move to Day 2 on Monday, October 19 at 1:05pm ET. The NLH event continues with Day 3 on October 20 at the same time, while the PLO event has no Day 3. Both final tables are scheduled for Wednesday, October 21 at 4:05pm ET.
That leaves several decisions before the final stages arrive. Players can fire Day 1B on Thursday, wait for Sunday’s Day 1C, or use the remaining Venom Fever routes to try to qualify for less. Sunday also gives players a separate shot at one of the seven guaranteed Paradise packages.
