Players now have three remaining Day 1 flights before Day 2 begins Monday, with Mystery Bounties starting at $5,000.
If you were looking for one more weekend route into the $15 Million Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms, ACR Poker has added it. A new Saturday Bonus Flight will run Aug. 29 for both the $12 Million guaranteed No-Limit Hold’em Venom and the $3 Million guaranteed Pot-Limit Omaha Venom.
The extra start lands in the final week of the two events and gives NLH and PLO players three remaining chances to qualify for Day 2. Both tournaments have a $2,650 buy-in, and all three remaining Day 1 flights begin at 12:05 p.m. ET.
Three Day 1 Flights Remain
The final stretch starts with Day 1G on Thursday, Aug. 27. The newly added Saturday Bonus Flight follows on Aug. 29, and the final scheduled Day 1 runs Sunday, Aug. 30.
That Saturday addition matters because it gives players another weekend option before Day 2 begins. It also gives another opportunity to anyone who has already qualified: players can enter multiple Day 1 flights and combine their qualifying stacks if they advance more than once.
That means a Day 2 spot is not necessarily the end of the Day 1 decision. A player who has already qualified can still use another starting flight to try to build a stronger stack for the next stage.
Because the Mystery Bounties do not become available until Day 2, the final three starting flights determine both who reaches the bounty stage and what stack each qualifier carries into it.
Where the Fields Stand
Through the first six starting flights, the $12 Million NLH Venom has recorded 2,738 entries, with 320 players already through to Day 2.
The NLH qualifier list already includes several ACR Pros: Ana Marquez, Chris Moneymaker, Chris Moorman, Chance Kornuth, and Rob Kuhn.
The current NLH numbers also leave significant ground between the field and the $12 million guarantee. With three Day 1 flights still to come, that creates the possibility of substantial overlay value for players entering the closing stretch.
The PLO event is moving through the same final three-flight schedule, with its 713 entries and 83 Day 2 qualifiers providing the current snapshot before Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday decide the rest of the field.
The Mystery Bounties Start on Day 2
Reaching Day 2 changes the nature of both tournaments. Everyone who advances is already in the money, and that is also when the Mystery Bounties become available.
In the NLH Venom, the biggest Mystery Bounty is $500,000. The PLO event has a top bounty of $250,000. Every Mystery Bounty in both tournaments is worth at least $5,000.
So the remaining Day 1s are about more than simply surviving into the money. Stack size can matter once the bounty stage begins.
Saturday Also Brings $355,000 in Venom Specials
The new Aug. 29 flight comes with a larger Saturday tournament slate around it. ACR Poker will run $355,000 in guaranteed Venom Specials throughout the day, giving players supporting events alongside both Bonus Flights.
For anyone planning to make Saturday their Venom day, that puts the newly added NLH and PLO starts at the center of a broader schedule rather than leaving them as standalone additions.
What Happens After the Last Flight
Day 2 for both tournaments begins Monday, Aug. 31, at 1:05 p.m. ET. That is when the Mystery Bounties go live and when every remaining player is already in the money.
From there, the two Venoms take slightly different paths. The NLH event moves to Day 3 on Tuesday, Sept. 1, then reaches its final table Wednesday, Sept. 2, at 4:05 p.m. ET. The PLO tournament does not have a Day 3 and will also finish with its final table on Sept. 2.
Before any of that happens, there are three starts left: Thursday, the new Saturday Bonus Flight, and Sunday. For players still trying to reach Day 2—or trying to add to an existing qualifying stack—the final week now has one more chance built into it.
